Our visit to the school

Yesterday, we had a lovely trip to Esparza where Eli and Ayden will be going to school. We all felt a bit nervous as we showed up while school was letting out with families and kids going every which way. But we were warmly welcomed in to meet with Dona Adrianna who introduced Eli to a young boy and off they went to play soccer. Ayden met some young girls practicing gymnastics and wowed them with her great cartwheels. They had found friends within minutes. Nerves were washed away with fun and friends.The kids tried on their uniforms, 2 different sets for each, an active outfit and an academic day outfit. Pretty amazing to see them growing up so quick.

A river stop at the Pozo Blanco helped us calibrate the heat. Some rock jumps into the refreshing Machuca river, always a great experience.

After, we all were in need for some ice cream, next stop POPS, your local scoop shop ready to satisfy. Another lovely night at the house.
